What is the minimum age to shop at Hii NYC?
You must be at least 21 years old to purchase cannabis in New York. This is a state law requirement. We check ID at the point of purchase. Bring a valid government-issued ID: driver's license, passport, or ID card.
What do I need to bring when I visit?
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. That is it. You do not need a medical marijuana card, a referral, or any other documentation. New York legalized adult-use cannabis, which means any adult 21+ can walk in and purchase.
Can I order online and pick up in-store?
We offer online ordering for delivery through Dutchie. In-store shopping does not require advance ordering. Walk in during our hours and our budtenders will help you find what you want in real time.
What types of products do you carry?
We stock eight categories: flower (raw cannabis buds), pre-rolls (ready to smoke), vaporizers (Pax Era system), concentrates (waxes, shatters, live resins), edibles (cannabis-infused foods), tinctures (liquid under the tongue), topicals (creams and balms), and orals (tablets or capsules).
How do I know which product is right for me?
It depends on your preferences and experience level. For traditional smoking, try flower or pre-rolls. For cleaner consumption, vaporizers are ideal. For precise dosing, edibles and tinctures offer control. For localized relief, topicals work. Our budtenders walk you through the options.
What is the difference between flower and concentrates?
Flower is the raw cannabis plant trimmed and dried. You smoke it in a pipe, joint, or vaporizer. Concentrates are extracted forms like wax, shatter, or live resin. They are more potent and require specialized equipment. If you are new, flower is a better starting point.
What brands do you carry?
We stock products from Pax Era, Back Home Farm, Wyld, Left Coast, Bodega Boys, Heady Tree, 6 Point Cannabis, Leadfarmer, Kiva, Camino, Flav, Leal, and more. All are established brands sourced from licensed New York producers.
Are edibles safe?
Edibles are legal, tested, and labeled with measured doses. Effects take 30 minutes to 2 hours to start and last 4-8 hours. Start with 5-10mg THC if you are new. Do not take more thinking the first dose has not worked. Do not drive after consuming.
How much should I take if I am new to cannabis?
For flower, start with one or two hits. For edibles, start with 5-10mg THC. For concentrates, start even smaller. Wait to see how it affects you before taking more. Cannabis affects everyone differently. Start low and go slow.
What is the difference between THC and CBD?
THC produces psychoactive effects (the high). CBD does not produce psychoactive effects. Many users prefer CBD-dominant products for relaxation or pain relief without impairment. Understanding the THC-to-CBD ratio helps predict effects.
What is a terpene profile?
Terpenes are aromatic compounds in cannabis that contribute to flavor and effects. Limonene (citrus) is often uplifting. Myrcene (earthy) is relaxing. Pinene (pine) is associated with focus. You can choose strains based on terpene profiles.
How do I order delivery?
Visit our Dutchie page, browse our menu, add items to your cart, select delivery with your address, and pay online. Delivery is available 10AM-10PM daily across Brooklyn and Queens. Driver verifies your ID at delivery.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and debit/credit cards at both locations. Online orders require a card. ATMs are available at both locations.
What is your return policy?
All purchases are final. Cannabis cannot be returned once it leaves the store. If you believe there is a quality issue, contact us immediately and we will work with you to make it right.
Can I smoke cannabis anywhere?
No. New York law restricts where you can smoke cannabis. You cannot smoke in public spaces, inside buildings, or in vehicles. You can smoke at home with permission from the property owner. Check your lease if renting.

What is parking like at your locations?
Williamsburg: Street parking on Bedford Ave, competitive on weekends. Parking garages within 2-5 blocks. Bay Ridge: Street parking on 3rd Ave is generally more available. Both locations accessible by public transit.
