Before you choose
Read the product, not just the name
A cannabis beverage can contain one or more servings. The volume of a can or bottle does not establish the amount of THC in one serving. Read the full package before consuming, including serving measurements and delayed-effect warnings. Cannabis drinks are for adults 21+ and should not be confused with ordinary refreshments.
- Serving measurement
- Check the serving volume and number of servings. A whole container may represent more than one labeled serving.
- THC and CBD amounts
- Read the actual milligram amounts alongside any ratio. A 2:1 label describes a proportion; it does not tell you the total by itself.
- Ingredients
- Review the package for ingredients, sugar, allergens and storage instructions. Do not assume all flavors or formulations are identical.
- Timing and handling
- Follow the oral-product warning. Effects may be delayed, and fast-acting positioning does not guarantee an individual's response. Avoid combining cannabis with alcohol and do not drive after use.
